Field Service Technician III - Wheeler, TX or Oklahoma

Position Summary
This position is responsible for performingbasic to advanced maintenance functions, procedures, activities andresponsibilities associated with working on gas compression packages withlimited guidance. Duties include learning from and assisting other senior leveltechnicians with servicing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning ofboth gas fired and electric driven compressor packages. The purpose of theService Technician III level is to acquire proficiency in performing advancedmaintenance, new equipment installation, and overhaul actions with limitedsupervision that will allow for progression to the Sr. Service Technical level.
PrincipleResponsibilities and Duties
Represents the company in a professional manner at all times while providing outstanding customer service that aligns with Enerflex visions and values.
Responsible for submitting accurate field service reports, expense reports, timesheets and other necessary paperwork daily.
Responsible for performance of the job activities in a manner consistent with the project goals and objectives.
Responsible for providing leadership and training to new, level I and level II Field Service Technicians.
Possess knowledge and ability to diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently with limited guidance.
Independently diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
All duties and responsibilities could include a large amount of (multi state) travel at short notice including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to complete, accurate, and timely rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines and controls on gas compressor packages in the field in adverse conditions without supervision.
Responsible for accurate troubleshooting of electrical systems, basic controls, and unit control panels such as Murphy, and Altronic, and Allen Bradley.
Responsible for accurately competing basic engine tuning functions to adjust engine performance and emissions on multiple major OEM's. (CAT/Waukesha)
Possess knowledge and ability to respond and repair recurring problems and emergency services as needed independently.
Ability to independently assist installation of new units including commissioning and start-up inspections without supervision accurately.
Knowledge and ability to perform mechanical inspection using micrometers, pressure gauges, electronic diagnostic equipment and other specialty tools with little to no guidance.
Must be able to be on a call-out rotation and effectively make emergency repairs.
Must recognize and comply with Health, Safety and Environmental rules and policies that are applicable to each location.
Other Duties assigned by supervisor.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and some vocational/technical related experience preferred
Must have 10-15 years' applicable experience

Ariel Basic
Ariel Mechanical
CAT 3500 ULB
Waukesha VHP
CAT 3600 Master Mechanic
CAT Failure Analysis
Waukesha 93990
Must also stay current on all updated OEM model specific training.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularlyrequired to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms andtalk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb orbalance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee mustregularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds andInfrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper liftingtechniques.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularlyexposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse outside weather conditions. Theemployee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes orairborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
